UNITY Complete screens for up to 14 recessive and X-linked conditions as well as aneuploidies such as Down syndrome. You can view the full list here.

The UNITY Complete test is a highly accurate screening test that tells you about your baby's chance to have certain genetic conditions. Almost 99% of people receive a reassuring, or low-risk, UNITY Complete result providing peace of mind about their pregnancy. While reassuring, a low-risk result doesn't eliminate the chance your baby could have one of the conditions screened. For those that want additional reassurance, or those who receive a high-risk result, additional diagnostic testing is recommended. You can review your personalized results and recommendations with your provider or speak with one of our genetic counselors about any questions you have.

Yes! You can find out if you're having a boy or girl from within the online portal once your results are ready. Alternatively, you can keep it a surprise and share the results directly with anyone of your choosing.

UNITY Complete is available as early as 9 weeks into pregnancy.

No, UNITY Complete is not a paternity test. Instead, it is a prenatal screening test that can look at the baby's genetic information for both recessive and chromosomal conditions.

Your doctor will advise on where to have your sample collected. Some clinics can do the blood draw in the office, while others will recommend you go to a nearby lab.

We need to determine if your prenatal provider already has UNITY Complete test kits in their office, or if we will need to ship you one to bring to your next appointment.

The results for chromosomal conditions (and add-ons, such as gender) are made available in ~1 week from the time your sample is received by our lab, and recessive conditions in ~2 weeks. You will receive an email or text notification once your results are ready in your online portal.
